After going several times to Rockingham Creek’s Crag scouting, mapping the area and taking pictures, I finally got to climb there for the first time on Aug 11th. The routes are surprisingly good. Still need to get more info on some routes. With 7 climbs, all in the intermediate grade, (5.10+ and 5.11s) this Slab quartzite offers incredible friction, the wall is big, so is the potential for new routes. Excellent area for developing hard super technical slabs 5.11s, 5.12s and maybe harder. Stay tuned, more to follow on this one.
